Little Einsteins: Jump for Joey

Summary: The Little Einsteins are on their way to the  Sydney Opera House in Australia for the animal talent show.  A baby kangaroo (they call him Joey because a baby kangaroo is called a joey) forgot about the show, so the Little Einsteins help him to get there on time.  Along the way, the Little Einsteins and Joey also tell a koala bear, two rainbow lorikeets,  and a snake about the show.  They all arrive at the show on time.  Joey performs in the show; he does his biggest jump ever.

Educational Value: Art of the day is Aboriginal Paintings.  Music of the Day is Carmen Suite No. 1 The Toreadors March, by George Bizet.  The viewer is also taught that a baby kangaroo is called a joey, and that the biggest rock in the world is Uluru (although I read that Uluru is actually the second biggest, Mt Augustus is first).

Little Einsteins: Flight of the Instrument Fairies

Summary: Quincy plays his violin to tell the musical story of the instrument fairies.  All of the instrument fairies get trapped in a cave except for the violin fairy.  The violin fairy asks Quincy to rescue the instrument fairies.  The Little Einsteins travel to Mt. McKinley to free the instrument fairies.

Theme: Violin music is the musical focus of this episode.
